Daming Palace & National Heritage Park
The Daming Palace (meaning "Palace of Great Brilliance") was the imperial palace complex of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), located in its capital Chang'an (now known as Xi'an). It served as the royal residence of the Tang emperors for more than 220 years. Today, it is designated as a national heritage site of China. It is surrounded by a very spacious park, and the entire palace complex and park area is a designated national heritage site.
